Past Rescues
Besides the
daily rescues in which our shelter was involved, we have participated
in two major rescues. On the following pages is the story, in words
and pictures, of Operation Babysave and Operation S.A.F.E.
Operation Babysave took in 78 baby ferrets that were
kept in horrendous conditions by persons solely interested in making a
profit.
Operation S.A.F.E. took in 54 ferrets from a breeder
in Arcadia, Florida who knew when it was time to get out of the ferret
breeding business.
